A serious issue with one of the paid Weapon Blueprints in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has caught the attention of the community. The Mecha-Drake Weapon Blueprint, available through the Draconic Forge Mastercraft pack, has been reported to have significant visibility problems, which could severely impact gameplay. This bug could make it nearly impossible for players to use the weapon effectively in competitive matches.
The issue was first highlighted by Reddit user KevinGO1900, who discovered that when they equipped the Mecha-Drake Blueprint and added a scope, the flames from the custom design completely obstructed their view in the Firing Range. As a result, the flames obscure the player's line of sight, making it nearly impossible to aim or engage enemies. If this issue persists in matchmaking games, players would be at a severe disadvantage, struggling to get kills, if any at all. Other players in the thread shared their frustration, with some joking that they would use the weapon for hip-fire kills and drop it for enemies to pick up.
Unfortunately, this is not an isolated issue. Back in December 2024, a similar problem was reported with the Saug SMG Weapon Blueprint from the Season 1 BlackCell Battle Pass. While the visibility issue was not as extreme as with the Mecha-Drake Blueprint, players were still frustrated by the problems with paid content. These types of issues have led many to criticize Treyarch for releasing content that is either broken or unusable in its current state.
