Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies is set to introduce exciting upcoming content, including new maps, returning perks, and leaks about upcoming bosses, giving players plenty to look forward to in the next update.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 made a huge impact with its launch in October 2024, especially with the return of round-based Zombies. Players were treated to two highly replayable maps, packed with Easter eggs, classic Perk-a-Colas, and both new and returning Wonder Weapons. It felt like everything fans had been hoping for in a new iteration of Call of Duty Zombies.

But that was just the beginning. In December 2024, Black Ops 6 introduced Citadelle des Morts, a new Zombies map reminiscent of fan-favorite stages like Der Eisendrache from Black Ops 3. Now, with the upcoming release of Season 2 on January 28, 2025, players are bracing themselves for another exciting new map: The Tomb.

The Tomb – What We Know So Far

The Tomb brings a familiar vibe with some exciting new twists. Leaks and official reveals have hinted at returning content as well as new features. One particularly notable update is the possible return of several Perk-a-Colas, which were leaked prior to Season 1 Reloaded but are now starting to materialize in the game.

Confirmed Perk-a-Colas Returns

Before Season 1 Reloaded, there were rumors circulating that five Perk-a-Colas would be making a return in future updates. These included:

  • Mule Kick
  • Vulture Aid
  • Tombstone
  • Double Tap
  • Death Perception

As expected, Season 1 Reloaded brought Vulture Aid back with Citadelle des Morts. Now, with the reveal of The Tomb, it’s confirmed that Death Perception will also be returning. With two out of five Perks already confirmed, fans are excited to see whether Mule Kick, Tombstone, or Double Tap will follow suit in upcoming updates.

Mimics and Disciple Enemies – What’s Next for Zombies Boss Fights?

On January 8, 2025, a Reddit user by the name of GenoGM shared an interesting discovery with the COD Zombies community. After requesting game data from Activision, they received a spreadsheet that seemed to hint at the return of certain enemy types. Specifically, the data included counters for Mimic and Disciple kills, alongside others like Mangler, Abomination, and Amalgam.

GenoGM speculated that these enemy types would make their way back into Black Ops 6 Zombies in future updates. Sure enough, Season 2’s official reveal confirmed the return of Mimics, albeit with a new electrified design. Given that Disciple kills were also mentioned in the data, it’s likely that these enemies could be arriving soon.

What’s Next for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies?

As Black Ops 6 continues to evolve, fans are eager to see what other updates and surprises lie ahead. With The Tomb bringing a host of exciting new content, and leaks pointing to more Perk-a-Colas and enemy types, it's clear that Call of Duty is setting the stage for a thrilling Zombies experience in 2025. Whether you’re chasing new perks, battling electrified Mimics, or hunting for Easter eggs, there’s plenty to look forward to in the months ahead.
